- In more summer time fight shifting, Chael Sonnen vs. Wanderlei Silva has been moved to the co-main event of UFC 175, headlined by Weidman vs. Machida.
- Dan Henderson vs. Daniel Cormier, a bout likely to be slotted for the co-main event of UFC 175, has been tentatively declared a #1 contender match.
- Renan Barao vs. T.J. Dillashaw has been slated to replace the canceled Weidman vs. Machida main event at UFC 173. Raphael Assuncao was originally tapped for the title fight, but had to turn it down due to injury.
- An exciting flyweight matchup between John Dodson and John Moraga has been slated for UFC Fight Night 43. Could very well determine the next #1 contender.

Werdum wins all five rounds as Browne looked awful throughout the fight. Should be a unanimous decision 50-45 for Werdum.
Browne turns up the pressure a bit in the fourth but Werdum still takes the round. 40-36 heading into the final round.
